About Sally ... a brief Biography

2021 Sally became an Ivors Academy Member & a Platinum member of The Songwriting Academy. She had the very 1st song she ever wrote sync'd to a very popular ABC TV series "A Million Little Things". She is studying guitar & busy working hard on composing some exciting new songs for releases 2022.
2020 All European Live show dates cancelled due to Covid-19 Virus. New Genre Single Release : 'UNEXPECTED". Sally is studying guitar and composing new songs to add to here ever growing catalogue of Original Multi Genre songs.

As a Singer Songwriter/Composer, very talented Producer, Band Leader and Curator she loves to harness that power with her multi genre repertoire which captures and thrills a broad audience & age group of music lovers and passionate musicians alike and transports them into her own unique magical musical world.
Sally has always been a singer firstly within her musical family, then in her village choir, schools, after which followed her classical training and Opera.
Then later Sally decided studied to sing, perform and compose Jazz, Blues, Soul, R&B/Pop...
After a break and several years traveling involving a career in event management & promotion for The Hollywood Reporter and other Media companies Sally decided to study vocal Jazz & began singing, performing & recording in France and Europe with many musicians including the great American Jazz drummer Bobby Durham (Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, James Brown) who loved her voice and swing. Bobby encouraged Sally to start composing. Shortly after Bobby passed away Sally met Marcus Miller Grammy Bassist, Composer & Producer (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Luther Vandross & Many more) who quickly recognized her talent for singing & composing and became her new mentor which further influenced her cross over style of composing and singing. Shortly after she was persuaded to move to New York by Bruce Lundvall legendary CEO of Blue Note /EMI who was advising and mentoring Sally until he sadly fell too ill and passed away.
During the years Sally lived in New York she produced several great albums & recordings as well as many live show performances in some of New York's most esteemed clubs, other US clubs & venues as well as International festivals and venues including the Billboard Live Tokyo, Japan club, with some of the worlds finest musicians and a plethora of the most highly regarded Jazz musicians including some Jazz legends and other Internationally famous & renowned artists. She also performed, curated & presented a weekly Sunday evening Trio show in New York during this time.
In 2019 Sally relocated back to the UK where she has been composing & recording some of her new AC/ R&B /Pop compositions and developing several new projects with her Grammy nominated Nashville based producers Roger Ryan & Michael Gaines for her upcoming releases in 2020/2021
Sally has always had a deep appreciation of great music and has eclectic music tastes which include Opera, Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova, Soul, R&B, Folk, Rock & Pop. She has always found great satisfaction in sharing the joy & pleasure music gives her with her listeners & audiences and even more so in recent years composing, writing & co-writing her own Original music and sharing it with her fans and people all over the world.
